The Rinny Troupe

This family of five comes all the way from Argentina and performs two acts of Juggling and the Rolla Bolla.

Father of The Rinnys, Waldo Olivero, was born into the circus. His grandparents were both performers in Buenos Aires. His father was a magician and a motorcyclist in the Globe of Death, while his mother was a juggler and performed the Rolla Bolla. They met in the Circus Villalba and married soon after. His grandfather thought Waldo's mother's name, Rina, had an artistic ring to it and soon named the family troupe after her. The Rinny Troupe was born.

Now Waldo, along with his wife Alejandra, their two daughters Johanna and Yanina, and their son Jonhatan are carrying on the tradition. Waldo said the children are all natural jugglers. They may have it in their blood, but they've also been practicing since they were babies. Waldo made sure each of their first toys were sets of rings, clubs, and balls!

The Rinnys arrived in the United States from Argentina in March 2006. They have traveled through 17 states with The American Crown Circus before ending up in Reno.

The Rinny Troupe brings two shows with them to Circus Circus. First, catch Johanna in the incredible Rolla Bolla act. Rolla Bolla is the skillful act of balancing on a board that is in turn balancing on a cylinder, and Johanna shines during this performance. Perched precariously above the crowd, she completes a costume change, juggles knives and even rotates 360 degrees. You'll find yourself holding your breath as Johanna stands on top of 4 canisters balanced on a single rolling cylinder!

Next, you won't want to miss the family juggling together. The Rinnys will truly amaze you with their speed and precision. While in constant motion all around the stage the family juggles rings, clubs, and balls in amazing moving combinations! At one time, the Rinnys juggle 15 clubs at once back and forth in a high traffic circle!
