Circus Circus Reno Created Thirty Food Baskets for Lemmon Valley Disadvantaged Families

Every little bit counts during the holiday season and Circus Circus Reno takes helping the community very seriously. Through a two week run in November, Circus Circus employees came through for a needed cause; creating food baskets for families in need at Lemmon Valley Elementary School.

Thirty food baskets were created which included ham or turkey, pie, noodles, rice, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cans of vegetables and cans of fruit—the necessary ingredients for a holiday feast!

“I’ve been at Circus Circus for six years and I have been helping ever since,” said Chris Gann, Retail Director. “I have headed it up for a couple of those years—all just to do my part.”

The food baskets were delivered to the school and placed in fun boxes created by students for those disadvantaged families.

“We are now working on the Angel Tree for Lemmon Valley School kids. We will begin collecting clothes and toys to brighten the holiday season,” said Gann.

Circus Circus Reno is an MGM Resorts International® Destination with six unique dining options. Enjoy the free circus acts at the midway as well as games for all ages.
