Circus Circus Reno Employees Packed Over 7,000 Pounds of Food for The Food Bank
In an effort to support the community, a group of hard working and energetic Circus Reno employees and their families donated their time and energy to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. Their efforts resulted in over 7,000 pounds of food packed and ready for families in the area. The shared food will benefit a variety of agencies and mobile pantry distributions in the neighborhood.
“I hate the thought of children going hungry,” said Ramiro Coronado, Entertainment Manager for Circus Circus Reno and a regular volunteer for Food Bank trips. “Circus Circus Reno realizes our community needs help and the Food Bank is one of those wonderful agencies that does that in the community.”
The Food Bank of Northern Nevada is a regional food distribution and support system for more than 130 different direct service, non-profit agencies who serve the needy, the ill, the elderly and children.
