The producers of “The Illusionists” announced today its latest experience is heading to Reno after record-breaking, simultaneous runs in New York, London, Australia and Asia. Having shattered box office records around the world, “The Illusionists Experience” will feature spectacular showcases from five of the most incredible illusionists on earth. Full of death-defying stunts, acts of breathtaking wonder and hilarious magic, “The Illusionists Experience” will dazzle audiences of all ages. From creative producer Simon Painter and The Works Entertainment, this mind-blowing production opens April 17 in the Eldorado Showroom at THE ROW.
With the conclusion of the 2018 season, “The Illusionists” holds the record as the highest-grossing show in a single week at the Marquis and Neil Simon Theatres on Broadway™, the Shaftesbury Theatre on London’s West End, the Sydney Opera House, the Arts Centre Melbourne and the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City.
Collectively, the world-class performers that make up “The Illusionists Experience” have been seen by millions of people around the world. The Trickster, David Williamson
Williamson has been featured on ABC's “Champions of Magic,” where he appeared with Princess Stephanie as he performed his miracles at different locations in and around Monaco. He has also co-starred in several top-rated primetime network specials including CBS' “Magicians' Favorite Magicians,” NBC's “Houdini: Unlocking His Mysteries” and NBC's “World's Greatest Magic III.” He was seen recently on The CW's “Masters of Illusion” TV series.
In 1981, Williamson won first place in the International Brotherhood of Magicians' sleight-of-hand competition. That year he also became the first-ever recipient of the prestigious Gold Cups “Award of Excellence” in close-up magic. He was voted "Sleight-of-Hand Magician of the Year" two years in a row by his peers at Hollywood's renowned Magic Castle. He was also twice awarded the "Magic Castle Lecturer of the Year" and the "Magic Castle Parlor Magician of the Year.” Williamson was voted "Most Wanted Magician" at the 2003 FISM convention in Den Haag and was recently honored with the Performance Fellowship by the Academy of Magical Arts and Sciences at the Magic Castle.
As host of the United Kingdom's acclaimed television series “The Magic Comedy Strip,” his irresistible mix of humor and skill helped make it one of the highest rated shows in the country. He has created illusions for and performed in several commercials and has developed TV shows for Walt Disney Productions and ABC, as well as consulting for illusionists David Copperfield's and David Blaine's TV specials. Most recently, Williamson appeared on PAX TV's “World Magic Awards Special” where he was awarded comedy magician of the year.
His best-selling magic book, "Williamson's Wonders,” has been translated into three languages. His instructional DVDs "Sleight Of Dave,” “Dave 2" and "Magic Farm" are bestsellers worldwide. He is also a frequent favorite Guest Entertainer on Disney Cruise Lines. Most recently, Williamson appeared as the Ringmaster in “Circus 1903” in Las Vegas.

Chris Cox is a multi-award winning 'mind reader who can't read minds’ and the star of “Chris Cox’s Mind Boggling Magic” (CBBC) & “Killer Magic” (BBC Three). He’s been seen live by over 500,000 people and the UK’s “Guardian Newspaper” say he is “one of the most exciting entertainers in Britain.” Cox is far too modest to mention it though.

The Escapist, Krendl
Krendl’s extensive magic career includes being the longest-running headliner in the history of Virginia Beach. He has performed over 1,200 shows in 12 years and was voted “best in show” for the past three years at the Magic Theater. He has been featured on national television shows and performed on cruise ships and resorts around the world. After performing in Australia, Canada, Italy, England, Mexico and numerous national tours in the U.S., he has developed a unique style of magic that has taken him to new heights. Krendl infuses both the old and new world of performance theater and will leave you breathless as he defies the odds and transcends what you believe to be possible.
Krendl’s passion and drive for entertaining started at the early age of ten. By age 12 he was performing regularly. From his humble beginnings as a child performing magic, Krendl was fascinated with Houdini’s most infamous escapes. The challenge of doing things, that are said to be impossible, has been the true heart and soul behind all of his work.
The Manipulator, Hyun Joon Kim
Hailing from Korea, Hyun Joon Kim is regarded as one of the most masterful sleight of hand artists in the world. His pure and articulate performance of manipulation earned him the "Presidential Award,” "People's Choice Award" and title of "North American Champion of Stage Magic" at the 2011 f'ISM North American Championship (the Golden Globes™ of the magic community). He went on to secure another win in manipulation at f'ISM in 2012. Hyun Joon Kim also earned first place in the 2010 Blackpool Magic Convention "Stage Magic Championship" in England.
His interest in magic began at age 12 and his extreme talent was very quickly recognized in the Korean magic community after winning multiple awards at competitions. He has mastered the art of manipulation with extreme discipline and highly skilled technique that leave both audiences and fellow magicians alike in awe.
The Showman, Valentin
Born in France to a musical family, Valentin fell into magic when he was just a kid. While other children were playing outside, he chose to dedicate his entire life to the art of illusion. First working as a close-up magician, he worked in the shadows of many different television shows throughout France. He recently joined the cast of “The Illusionists” on its tours of Kazakhstan and Europe and appeared in a live version of “Now You See Me” in China. His journeys and experiences far from France have shaped his personality. With a French touch, a bit of humor and a limitless passion for the art of magic, you will share with Valentin a one-of-a-kind experience of wonder and mystery.
